He proposed on the beach!
So, after booking me as their wedding photographer, we knew we absolutely had to do their complimentary engagement session at the beach!
We chose this beach (between Collinwood and Thornbury, ON) for a few reasons:
- It’s usually pretty quiet in the evenings - it’s a great spot for a date night picnic!
- There’s some variety to the landscape - I love giving clients a few scenery options within our chosen location
- And I’m not going to lie, I totally had my eye on this amazing big rock in the water!
When I sprung the idea on Danielle, it went something like, “Hey, so I have a kind of crazy idea…are you guys up for an adventure?!” She said YES before even hearing it!
Next thing you know, I had my flash, light stand, and softbox out in the water, waded in, and…YES!
I absolutely love offering my wedding and elopement clients the chance to do complimentary engagement photos with me! It’s the perfect low pressure way to get to know each other before your big day, and you end up with some beautiful, relaxed photos of just the two of you! Lots of my couples have used these photos to send with a Save the Date - perfect!
